Safety Information
Our kits are made for little hands. Here's what grown-ups should know before playtime.
Age grading
Our kits are made for ages 3–7 and are not for children under 3. Check the age range on each kit's page before you buy.
Small parts
⚠️ CHOKING HAZARD – Small parts. Not for children under 3 years. Keep small pieces and packaging away from babies and toddlers, and pop everything back in the box after play.
Battery safety
The First Reader Kit contains batteries. Keep batteries away from children. The battery compartment is secured with a screw, so only a grown-up should open it. If you think a child has swallowed a battery, get medical help right away.
Science kit safety
In the Little Scientist Lab, use the magnifier and microscope away from direct sunlight. Slides and experiment items are for observation only. Do not put them in the mouth.
Grown-up supervision
Adult supervision recommended. Play together, especially the first few times, and check pieces now and then. Stop using anything that's broken or damaged.
